Impose no new restrictive agricultural regulation for four years

The PCQ commits to imposing no new restrictive regulation on agriculture for four years and to easing existing rules. After consultation, it would modernize the Act respecting the preservation of agricultural land and agricultural activities, give MRCs more latitude to allow the subdivision of non-dynamic land for short-supply-chain agricultural projects, and shorten processing times at the CPTAQ.
