Increase annual medical school admissions by about 500

As part of its health platform, the PCQ commits to increasing the number of doctors trained in Québec by about 400 to 500 per annual cohort, by lifting admission quotas in medical schools and recruiting more foreign-trained doctors. The party aims to recruit 2,000 to 3,000 additional doctors over the coming years. The official platform also specifies training and certifying 1,500 new specialized nurse practitioners (IPS) during the mandate, safe ratios, the gradual end of mandatory overtime as a normal management method, and a 25% reduction in the health network's central bureaucracy.
