Create 6,000 transition housing units and double funding for the homelessness action plan

Invest $1.5 billion to create 6,000 transition housing units, paired with psychosocial support costing $135 million per year (these units are part of the 50,000 social and community housing units promised), renew the Québec action plan against homelessness for 2027-2032 by doubling the amounts allocated to it, to $112 million per year, and appoint a super-minister responsible for coordinating government action on homelessness.
