Horizon Saint-Laurent 2027-2032: maritime strategy ($300 million for ports, $90 million for shipbuilding)

A Fréchette government commits to developing new trade corridors, starting with a Québec–Europe–North Africa corridor based on the economic Francophonie; appointing a Special Envoy for St. Lawrence Development and Maritime Trade; investing $300 million in port infrastructure and the St. Lawrence corridor (with the goal of mobilizing nearly $2 billion in private and federal investment); and creating a $90 million envelope for the shipbuilding sector, particularly SMEs.
